“Hearing loss has affected my life but it hasn’t stopped me from living it” 

Four-times World Champion and Olympic kayaker and professional bass fisherman, Eric Jackson has had a hearing loss since childhood but was encouraged by his parents not to see it as a disadvantage. Instead, his father instilled in him the belief that hard work and dedication were the keys to success. It certainly paid off as Eric is the most successful free-style kayaker of his generation.

At 57, Eric is showing no signs of slowing down and has not lost the urge to improve instilled in him by his father. In this short film, he gives insight into some of the things that help him to keep getting better with age.
